Its front panel is a custom-made, precision-crafted extrusion of military-grade aluminum, while the heatsinks are designed for efficient heat dissipation and a refined appearance.
We’ve meticulously engineered the M6si500 as a true dual-mono design. Each power amp section has its dedicated heatsink and separate transformer, while the preamp enjoys its own power-supply winding.
The five input sockets are directly connected to the main preamp circuit board, eliminating the need for wire connections. This ultra-short signal path ensures ultra-low impedance from the moment your audio sources feed into the M6si500.
Furthermore, each channel features 12 large bipolar transistors, capable of peak-to-peak performance of 200 amps. Additionally, a precision digital volume control, employing laser-trimmed substrate resistors, ensures perfect tracking even at very low listening levels.
This meticulous attention to detail results in stellar technical performance. For instance, distortion levels are remarkably low, measuring around 0.008% at 1kHz and 0.015% at 20kHz, with only a marginal increase to 0.02% at ultra-high frequencies of 30-50kHz. The signal-to-noise ratio is also exceptional.
