Description
Sound takes the lead. Despite the attention-grabbing advancements in 8K and other captivating video and gaming capabilities, AudioQuest’s 48 and eARC-Priority Series HDMI cables stand out as our top-performing HDMI cables when it comes to sound quality.
The enhanced precision and stricter manufacturing standards necessary for HDMI cables to handle up to 48Gbps of bandwidth mean that all of AudioQuest’s trusted methods and components are just as crucial as they’ve always been.
Pearl 48 showcases high-purity Long-Grain Copper conductors, carefully directed to maximize the efficient elimination of radio-frequency interference.
48Gbps Bandwidth
AudioQuest’s “48” HDMI cables are capable of transferring professional 10K Ultra-HD video thanks to their 48Gbps bandwidth. This bandwidth is achieved through four balanced audio/video pairs, each capable of 12Gbps. The need for precision and tighter manufacturing tolerances to handle 48Gbps bandwidth means that many of AudioQuest’s proven techniques and components are now more critical than ever.
8K/10K
AudioQuest’s 48Gbps HDMI cables support video resolutions up to 10K and resolutions/refresh rates up to 8K/60 and 4K/120. All AudioQuest HDMI cables are fully compatible with existing 4K displays.
Long-Grain Copper Conductors (HDMI)
In AudioQuest HDMI cables, you’ll find Solid Long-Grain Copper, Silver-Plated Copper, or Perfect-Surface Silver conductors that enhance Noise-Dissipation and overall performance. Pearl 48, in particular, utilizes Long-Grain Copper for its conductors.
Level 1 Noise Dissipation (HDMI): Direction-Controlled
This forms the basis of AudioQuest’s Noise-Dissipation technologies. Traditional “100% shielding” is no longer sufficient to protect against the increasing interference from Wi-Fi, cellular, and satellite radiation. AudioQuest HDMI cables employ Direction-Controlled conductors, minimizing RF Noise by directing it away from the most vulnerable circuits. Additional Noise-Dissipation techniques (Levels 2 and up) are applied to further reduce noise as budget permits.
eARC: LGC + Level-1 Noise Dissipation
eARC conductors in AudioQuest’s 48-Series HDMI cables are designed with the same superior metals, Direction-Controlled Conductors, and Noise-Dissipation technologies as the primary AV data pairs. HDMI’s enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) dramatically increases digital bandwidth to support high-resolution multichannel audio. AudioQuest’s eARC-Priority cables ensure top-notch audio performance.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
AudioQuest HDMI cables adhere to strict manufacturing standards and quality control processes. Should you encounter a genuine manufacturing defect with your HDMI cable purchased through an authorized AudioQuest US dealer, the non-transferable original-owner limited lifetime warranty has you covered. This warranty offers repair or replacement of any defective HDMI cable that hasn’t been abused, for the lifetime of the product. Proof of original purchase is required. Please note that this warranty doesn’t serve as an upgrade program for previous-generation HDMI cables designed to meet earlier HDMI specifications. Current AudioQuest models are engineered to meet HDMI 2.0 (18Gbps) or HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps). All generations of HDMI cable provide some, but not all, of the features enabled by HDMI 2.0 and 2.1. HDMI cables are also backward compatible, offering the capabilities of previous generations. To fully experience the benefits of the latest HDMI 2.1 hardware, an HDMI cable must meet the HDMI specifications with an FRL-enabled bandwidth of 48Gbps. Whether you’re using HDMI-enabled equipment with Standard Speed, High Speed (10.2Gbps), 18Gbps, or Ultra High Speed (48Gbps), AudioQuest’s HDMI “48” Series guarantees superior sound and overall performance compared to even AudioQuest’s 18Gbps cables. This warranty is valid only in the United States. For warranty policies in other countries, please consult your local dealer or distributor.
