MODEL M1 is designed first and foremost to be compact, intuitive, and effortless to use. However, it’s also a Marantz product – so high-quality audio performance is fundamental to its design.
With 100W of stereo amplification, MODEL M1 has the power and quality to meet most typical use cases. Simply connect the loudspeakers of your choice to suit your needs. Add a subwoofer for a 2.1-channel experience, then connect local sources and your TV if you so wish.
The Power to Impress
Based on the HEOS platform, MODEL M1 benefits from all the capabilities available on the service, including soon-to-be-released updates to include TIDAL Hi-Fi Plus and Roon Ready support for NAS-served high-resolution audio.
However you want to listen, MODEL M1 has you covered – Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and AirPlay2 are also included, ensuring wide-ranging wireless music streaming support for almost any content you may wish to access, and from almost any device.
You can also play audio from a locally connected USB-A drive, making this compact product a powerhouse of connected, streamed, and network-served high-resolution audio.
Prefer the sound of vinyl? You can even connect a record player (noting the requirement for either a built-in or external phono stage for the record player’s outputs) via the MODEL M1’s RCA analog inputs.
High Resolution, Your Way
MODEL M1 includes an HDMI eARC socket. Connect it to your TV for a seamless alternative to a soundbar or to a more complex AVR-type solution for high-quality TV watching.
The eARC HDMI feature means simple one-remote control over system volume levels and power management using your TV’s supplied handset.
The onboard Dolby Digital+ decoding supports all the latest audio codecs typically used by broadcast and streamed TV services in high quality, and a range of useful adjustment functions provide for an optimized experience whatever and whenever you are watching.
The included subwoofer output is an added attraction for TV viewers looking to create movie-scale impact with minimal complexity and offers all the adjustment functionality required to ensure outstanding sound quality with any size of speakers or subwoofer.
The Heartbeat of Your Home
Pair MODEL M1 with additional MODEL M1s for a whole-home music distribution system, complete with valuable integrator-friendly features to support custom installation if so desired.
Alternatively, pair MODEL M1 with your existing HEOS-enabled Marantz hi-fi or AVR-based system for a simple extension of your Marantz listening experience to another room in your home.
MODEL M1 can be wall-mounted via a threaded mounting point on the rear of the amplifier, or two units can be installed side by side on a rack. Its effective thermal management means no intrusive fan noise or issues with heat build-up in cabinets.
