Usable with the BluOS app, the provided remote, or through hands-free control with any Amazon Alexa device, the M33’s front panel never needs to be touched.
Onboard Dirac Live Room Correction
Experts agree that room acoustics are the weak link in most sound systems, with room reflections deteriorating tonal balance and dynamics. Dirac, one of the most renowned room correction systems on the market, not only adjusts the frequency response but, unlike other room correction systems, also optimizes the impulse response. Flexibility Meets Long-Term Value
In its standard form, the M33 is highly comprehensive with a wide range of inputs/outputs, BluOS, Dirac, HDMI, and more, already fully integrated. It will meet the needs of the most demanding users. To minimize the risk of future obsolescence, the M33 comes with two MDC (Modular Design Construction) slots for future expansion. NAD introduced the MDC platform over ten years ago, allowing products t
o be updated with new technologies that didn’t even exist at the time of introduction.
Connection and Wireless Flexibility
Whether connecting digital or analog sources, the M33 is well-equipped to accommodate them all: 6 digital inputs and 3 analog inputs, including MM phono. At the back, the rear panel hosts two sets of speaker outputs capable of bi-wiring and a stereo subwoofer output with a fully configurable digital crossover. Airplay 2 and Bluetooth AptX-HD enable local wireless streaming from a phone or tablet.

The M33 features a high-quality MM phono input that competes with specialized external units. Precise RIAA equalization, an intelligent infrasonic filter canceling phase, and a huge overload margin combine to bring out the best in vinyl records. Additionally, headphone enthusiasts will be pleased with the sound of the discrete headphone amplifier, capable of driving even high-impedance planar studio phones. The all-alloy casing is elegant yet practical. The unique volume control knob is complemented by a color LCD touchscreen. Stiff panels with iso-point magnetic feet form a solid base for multilayer circuit boards and complex internal construction. The M33 uses a traditional stereo amplifier in a totally modern and fresh version, with future-proof features and performance.
Seamless Integration into Smart Homes
BluOS enables hands-free control with full integration from any Amazon Alexa device. Thanks to Airplay 2, control is also possible
with Siri. Considerable efforts have been made to make the M33 fully compatible with all major smart home systems from companies like Apple, Crestron, Control4, Lutron, KNX, and many others. This means that, in addition to lighting, blinds, heating, ventilation, and security, integrators or users can seamlessly control the BluOS multi-room music system from a common interface. All integrations are certified for reliable operation. Custom BluOS apps for iOS and Android tablets and phones, as well as desktop control from Windows and Apple OS, are available for free and regularly updated.
