The D-ILA home theater projector features a 4K120p input to reproduce a full 4K-resolution image (4096 x 2160 pixels). The projector is powered by three native 0.69-inch 4K D-ILA devices and an all-glass lens composed of 17 elements arranged in 15 groups with a diameter of 65 mm, projecting high-resolution images to every corner of the screen with a brightness of up to 1,900 lumens. The 4K120p input also makes the projector ideal for gaming when combined with Low Latency mode. Compatible with the latest HDR10/HDR10+, featuring the new Frame Adapt HDR Generation 2.

Frame Adapt HDR Generation 2

The Frame Adapt HDR technology, using a proprietary algorithm to instantly analyze the maximum brightness of HDR10 content per frame and adjust the dynamic range in real time for optimal video projection on projectors, has evolved into the second generation. As the culmination of HDR image processing technology, the tone mapping algorithm has been completely reexamined, achieving HDR images with higher definition and a three-dimensional feel by suppressing whiteness, especially in high-brightness areas.

USB Backup

A USB backup function that can save and write all settings at once.

This function saves the settings of the main unit menu to a commercially available USB flash drive. Professional adjustments can be saved or backed up in advance to undo unintended adjustments by children or family members.

• Realizing Images Full of Presence with D-ILA’s High Contrast: JVC’s original D-ILA device combined with an optical engine equipped with a wire grid results in a high native contrast ratio of 40,000:1. The dynamic contrast ratio of 400,000:1 is achieved through an original algorithm analyzing input signals, providing sensational 4K video full of reality.
• HDR10+ Support Allows a Choice for Two Dynamic Tone Mappings: JVC projectors support all HDR formats, including HDR10 for Blu-ray and streaming, HLG for broadcasting, and the latest HDR10+ signal format with dynamic metadata compatibility. The two dynamic tone mappings of HDR10+ and Frame Adapt HDR ensure optimal picture quality for any HDR content.

Improvements to Frame Adapt HDR:

• Theater Optimizer for optimal reproduction of HDR content suitable for each environment.
• HDR Quantizer with New Auto (Wide) level mode: Auto (Wide) provides brighter/more dynamic HDR images.

FILMMAKER MODE™ that faithfully recreates the creator’s intentions: FILMMAKER MODE™ faithfully reproduces filmmakers’ intentions at home, turning off picture quality adjustment functions such as frame interpolation and noise reduction. The color temperature is set to D65 (6500K), allowing users to enjoy movies and documentaries with picture quality faithful to the original master.

Lens Shift Function: Flexible installation is made possible thanks to the wide lens-shift function. Wide shift ranges are offered vertically and horizontally to help deliver natural projected images without distortion.

Clear Motion Drive Supporting 4K60P (4:4:4) Signal Improves Moving Images: Colour Management System with 6-axis Matrix. Eight settings of Installation Mode include Lens Control, Pixel Adjustment, Mask, Anamorphic on or off, Screen Adjust, Installation Style, Keystone, and Aspect. Stored installation modes for various environments can be called up. ISF C3 (Certified Calibration Controls) mode reproduces excellent picture quality optimized for specific environments.
