Stretch Fabric System

The TelaScapes wall track system simplifies the acoustic treatment of any commercial or residential space. It combines high-level, effective sound absorption with options to personalize the aesthetics of the treatment. The system consists of three fully customizable components: a modular track system that can be mounted almost anywhere, filler panels providing broadband acoustic absorption, and a wide selection of durable stretch fabrics available in various colors.

Step 1

Utilize the modular PVC rail pieces of the TelaScapes system to create the design and frame for the rest of the acoustic treatment. The rails are compatible with nearly all flat surfaces and are easy to install.

Step 2

Primacoustic filling material panels are easily mounted within the spaces created by the rail system. A variety of panel sizes are available to reduce installation time in larger rooms, and mounting hardware makes it easy to affix the panels to any wall surface.

Step 3

Finally, fabric is stretched over the panels, easily tucked into place with Primacoustic’s installation tools for a seamless fit. A wide variety of colour options are available to suit the existing décor of any space.

Step 4

Primacoustic provides specially designed tools to facilitate the installation of the TelaScapes system. Tucking the fabric into the channels of the rails can be a delicate task, and without the right tools, ensuring the fabric looks its best can be challenging. These tools have been customized and designed to assist every step of the installation process.

1) Track System

The TelaScapes track system includes two types of track pieces: Perimeter Tracks for outside edges and Mid-Wall Tracks for joining two sections of paneling together. Both of these track types accommodate heavy fabric types and Broadband Raw Acoustic Panels. The durable track is built from recyclable PVC or recycled uPVC and can be cut to size if needed. Light and dark color options are also available for the track itself, allowing the track edges to blend seamlessly with the chosen fabric and surrounding décor.

2) Filling Material Selection

Primacoustic sound panels have been successfully used in thousands of installations worldwide. For most commercial and general applications, TelaFill PET panels are excellent for absorbing a broad range of frequencies, helping to control most spaces.

For critical listening environments, such as studios, we recommend Broadband Raw panels as they have an extended absorption range. Go beyond absorption with an additional layer of soundproofing using PrimaBlock loaded mass vinyl.

4) TelaScapes Tools

Inserting fabric into the channels of the TelaScapes Tracks system for a professional look is made easy with Primacoustic’s specially designed tools. The TelaRocker is ideal for large fabric sections, featuring a curved blade and ergonomic handle to gently guide the fabric into the rail channels. The 2″ and 5″ finishing tools are perfect for more precise adjustments and are excellent choices for finishing corners and seams.
